POLICIES

Our Invitation to You:

• We welcome solo travelers as well as pairs and groups of friends & family members.

• No prior surf or yoga experience is needed - most of our guests are absolute beginners!

• Women of all levels of surf & yoga experience are invited to join us.

• Guests must be 18 + to attend. There is no maximum age limit. You can learn to surf at any age and have a wonderful time! (Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

• We recommend that our guests be in good physical health to participate in our various activities.
  
  
• All Surf Goddess guests must read and agree to the terms on our participant agreement and assumption of risk form prior to attending a retreat.

Surf Goddess Retreats have had the pleasure of welcoming women of all ages from around the world!

All retreats feature our complete surf, yoga & wellness program which has been designed to be enjoyed by women of all ages and abilities.

All our retreat activities are optional and guests are encourage to learn at their own pace and are invited to follow their bliss and enjoy many of the other activities available such as relaxing on the beach, getting spa treatments, amazing shopping or experiencing the exotic culture of Bali.

Booking Policy:
It is advisable to make your reservations as early as possible. Spaces on the retreat and flights to Bali can fill up fast, generally 3 - 4 months in advance.

Upon sending in a completed reservation form a tentative reservation is made and held for 3 days.

Payment:
After a tentative booking has been made, payment within 3 days secures your reservation (if no payment is made within this time your tentative booking is automatically released).

After payment has been received you will be notified and confirmed via e-mail and receive a complete travel information packet to help you prepare for your vacation.

We accept payment by bank transfer or Visa / MasterCard only. Payment by credit cards attracts an additional bank processing fee.

Surf Goddess Retreats is not responsible for any unforeseen additional charges that may be added by the guest's own banking institution for currency conversions when making international payments by credit card.

Rates listed are per person and subject to change, however, your price will NEVER change after it is booked and fully paid.

Retreat package rate is only guaranteed when paid in full by the individual. Package rates can increase due to supplier adjustments and currency fluctuation rate between the international currencies and the local currency. To guarantee retreat rates we recommend paying in full the price quoted in writing within 3 days from registration.

Travel and Flight Information:

Please book your flights to arrive on the first posted retreat date prior to 5pm and to depart around 3pm - 9pm on the last posted retreat date.

The airport code is DPS - Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. We recommend www.expeida.com (US) and www.expedia.co.uk (Europe) for checking available flights and the best online air fares or visit our FAQ page for more detailed information.

Final booking of your flight is not necessary before retreat registration, but we do need your flight or accommodation details 7 days before arrival to organize your transfer.

We provide complimentary airport transfers to and from the retreat between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

If you are arriving from or departing to other accommodation in Bali, we are able to provide a complimentary transfers to the following areas only - Seminyak, Legian, Kerobokan, Kuta, Umalas, and Petitengit – between the hours of 8am – 6pm. 

For guest arrivals and departures outside our transfer times and range, it will be necessary to organize your individual transport to or from the retreat at your own expense, which can range from $10 - $30 USD approx.

LATE ARRIVAL – On the first day the latest time a guest can join the retreat is 9pm. We are unable to cater to arrival after that time and so alternative accommodation would need to be organized for that evening along with transportation to retreat the next day at the guest's own expense.

LATE DEPARTURE – On the final day the retreat closes at approx. 1pm. Guests are welcome to stay on at the villa until 6pm. For departures after that time there is a late check out fee of $50 USD.

You must bring a valid passport to enter Indonesia. All guests are responsible for proof of citizenship documents. Note: Your passport must have at least six months remaining before expiration to be valid.

A tourist visa is also required to enter Indonesia. The tourist visa can be purchased on arrival at the airport for $25 USD for a 30 day stay.

Cancellation Policy:

Surf Goddess Retreats does not provide any cash, check or credit card refunds.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason including personal emergencies.

If you cancel....
1) If you cancel before 90 prior to the first day of the retreat you are registered for 100% of your payment will be credited to any other date within 2 years of your original booking date.

2) If you cancel within 90 days prior to the first day of the retreat you are registered for 25% of your payment is forfeited and 75% of your balance is credited to any other date within 2 years of your original booking.

3) If you cancel within 30 days of the first day of your retreat 40% of your payment balance can be credited to any other available date within 2 years of your original booking and 60% of the payment is forfeited.

4) If you cancel within 14 days of the first day of your program there is no credit and all payment is forfeited.

6) There are no refunds for arriving late or leaving early. There are no partial refunds for any services, not used while at SGR.

7) All cancellations must be received in writing sent via email or registered mail.

Surf Goddess Retreats is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips by a guest such as airline tickets or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.

We require all participants to obtain travel insurance with a trip cancellation policy which covers the individual. We recommend World Nomads - affordable travel insurance for the smart adventurer!

If we cancel...

We do our utmost to maintain our standard of never canceling a retreat, but if Surf Goddess were to ever cancel or move a retreat, guests are welcome to move retreat dates or their payment would be refunded in full.

Surf Goddess Retreat's liability will be to refund all monies paid for the total of the cancelled retreat package only. Surf Goddess Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any retreat such as airlines tickets, loss of work, and/or any other costs associated with your trip.

Payment to Surf Goddess Retreats indicates agreement with this cancellation policy.
